Sven Koechler
DirectorSven Daniel Koechler brings a unique blend of engineering insight, sustainability leadership, and entrepreneurial drive to the private aviation sector. As founder and Managing Principal / General Manager of North American Aerospace Industries Corporation (NAAI), he leads efforts in sustainable, end-to-end aircraft recycling and lifecycle management. Under his direction, NAAI is developing one of the largest dedicated recycling and MRO facilities in the United States — a project designed to dismantle, upcycle, and repurpose up to 95 % of retired aircraft components, significantly reducing waste and supporting a more eco-efficient aviation supply chain.
Sven holds a PhD in Business Administration from University of Hertfordshire. His academic grounding, combined with deep aviation-industry experience, empowers him to bridge technical, regulatory, commercial, and sustainability domains — making him particularly effective in guiding aircraft lifecycle strategy, regulatory compliance, asset value optimisation, and environmentally conscious operational practices.
With Sven on the leadership team, Altiora gains a forward-looking advocate for sustainable aviation, capable of advising on lifecycle asset management, recycling solutions, MRO planning, and aviation-industry innovations.
